Faux Finishes, Tuscan rooms.

This room was furnished by designer Amy Antonio
I painted the faux finish to match the warmth of the wood
and the room. The full story can be found at www.amyantonio.com
Amy writes an incredibly hip, fun and informative blog and
mentiones my work!

Tuscan Finish

Some Faux Finishes are not easy to capture with a camera since you need some lighting to show the rich and washed out colors.
If it's too dark or for that matter, too light, the faux colors will look muted and solid with maybe a hint of another color.
Here's some photos of a faux Tuscanny style finish with a protective gloss.
Theres no other way of getting the right feel of the process and colors other than being in the room itself with it providing its textural atmosphere.
